a first-winter Ring-billed Gull but what is that skulking just OOF? -- this Belted Kingfisher was attacking its own reflection in the window of the hotel in Ucluelet harbour -- Common Loons or Great Northern Divers were preety common offshore, also saw several Red-necked and Slavonian Grebes and one party of 5 Western Grebes at Horseshoe bay but they were well offshore  -- a few California Gulls seemingly omnipresent
