Sunny Sunday

Even Jasper gets busy on a sunny Sunday so headed east towards Hinton and then north on the scenic route to Alaska passing the Switzer PP it looked a nice area so stopped off for a walk around a nice trail and then a look at an interesting hide where a Canadian? Tiger Swallowtail was obliging and another bright orange butterfly flushed from inside the forest would only perch with its wings closed so still trying to identify it; birds included a Cooper's Hawk with nest, Gray Jay family, a Myrtle Warbler, singing Golden-crowned Kinglet and Swainson's Thrushes, 3 Blue-headed Vireos, several Red Squirrels and a beautiful show of calypso orchids apparently quite scarce but common at this location; the 300 2.8 with converters is such a versatile set up as the new model focuses even closer than the mark 1
