Arctic Warbler

there are times when family events cause a degree of tension and this Arctic Warbler certainly caused me a bit of angst over the weekend -- my daughter is well used to my sudden disappearances and hardly noticed I was not there when a Pied Wheatear turned up at Gib on her 7th birthday but being in Bournemouth even I could not sneak away this weekend but thankfully most of the star birds were still on the Lincs coast today and as the term goes showing well on occasions -- most of these were taken in appalling light at 2000 ISO with a 1DX and 300 2.8 and 2x
although I had seen 4 previous Arctic Warblers in Lincs, 1976, 1978, 1986 and 1995 this was the first in 19 years and a very nice bird
