Red Kites on a raptor day

after seeing the Rough-legged Buzzard, Common Buzzard, two Peregrines including one mobbing a Hen Harrier, Sparv, Kestrel and two Marsh Harriers (we missed Merlin) went off to a Kite roost that is just 26 miles from home but costs £5:40 a time so it happens to be the first time I have ever been -- oh and that sunny day well amazingly the Met men got it 100% wrong again but we don't expect much more now --- so some very high iso dull images but superb raptors with their colour contrasting with the grey winter woodlands -- its not Gigrin but it is a lot closer
