Varanger break for Terek encounter

a peaceful afternoon was shattered by the discovery of a Terek Sandpiper at Gibraltar Point; a new bird for the old Lincs list and only the second for the county it had to be visited; the rain was heavy, the light terrible, the bird not close but at least it was there; all photos from a busy hide with 1DIII 5--f4 and 2x

My favourite photos so far are in number one spot Woodsand on tree stump and in second place Siberian Jay with berry - the others aren't too bad though!
