Southern Ontario May 2008

my third trip to this warbler hot spot and we were not disappointed although there were no major falls the warblers at Pelee were amazing often coming within 1-2m of the camera; I had long wanted to try and photograph Blackburnian in spring and this bird seemed to sense my need! at one stage it virtually landed on the end of my lens and I was left watching it with the naked eye from less than 2 feet!

Hi Graham

I have just looked at your Pelee images and they have made me feel ill.

What camera and lens do you use?

As your comments on the White-crowned Sparrow, really emphasises the real futility of twitching and for some folk grot ball, lost 1st winter birds will be the only birds they see.
